Knitters of all levels are welcome but if you fancy a challenge then experimental knitting with Laura Long on 18 October is the one to note in your diary. www.hove.virtualmuseum.info, www.nationalknittingweek.co.uk
Zoffany’s new fabrics were launched at Focus this year. Featuring strong nomadic and tribal influences the collection is a melting pot of weaves and prints that combine unusual scale and texture. Silk yarns, linens and slub wools contrast and create an eclectic mix – or as Zoffany put it “a carefully considered mish-mashing of cultural influences” www.zoffany.com
